You can ping other sites to let them know you have updated your blog.
Create your own Poll and post it in your blog and added to that you can edit the way you want your poll to look like, you can choose the font, color and background for your poll.
Download a theme for your blog either wordpress, blogger or any of the popular blog software you are using.
They also features forum to show off your blog or learn how to make money from blogging by just joining the conversation at there forums.
