Link Baiting: A way to attract visitors.

Specifically, linkbait is used to attract visitors to your website or blog whether through interest, anger or knowledge seeking. Linkbait is content that is specially written to either educate, entertain or inflame your readership and prospective readers. These articles create buzz, and the buzz spreads virally from site to site in the form of links and comments that others make about what is written on your site. These inbound or back links are used by search engine algorithms to rank a website. The higher the rank, the higher the listing, the more traffic that arrives at your website. More visitors create more buzz which in turn creates more visitors. Linkbait creation is a marketing campaign on steroids and falls under the task of link building. Its sole aim is to increase the quantity of high-quality, relevant links to a website or a blog.
Linkbait comes in two forms: specific, informative and useful content in a niche market written by an authority or content that will incite discussion and arguments on a given subject. There are different types of how you want to make a linkbait, let's go through some of them:

News. Keeping up with breaking news on what's happening on the world wide web and the blogosphere is often followed by readers who want to always kept themselves inform of the latest events and trends.

Controversy.Writing something unpopular often gets and keeps readers who want to air their views on what you have posted. Rants and raves on something in a negative fashion often attracts attention as people often loves to dispute and discuss things unpopular.

You can automatically bookmark your post at del.icio.us using the same tags as your technorati tags.
Automatically enable pings using Ping-O-Matic.
Enables you to automatically publish your content on your blog as this extension tool is compatible with Wordpress and Blogger platforms but there is some issues with regards to Movable Type blogging platform.

Blogging to get paid: Challenges and Opportunities.

I have just started blogging to get paid and some may not like it especially the big "G" but I don't have to worry about it for the reason that I have already been through with the big "G's" scrutinizing eyes for a long time ago. My account is still active but can no longer be able to participate in the big "G's" Adsense program for reasons they don't have the time to explain why and I didn't bother to appeal.
Sponsored postings though some serious blogger may not like the idea, but based on my observation and while looking at some who have done it poses blogger a challenge and an opportunity.
The challenges of sponsored posting is that it propels your mind to become creative in the sense that it cultivates ideas for you while at the same time on your part how to make your post blend with your subject. Sponsored posting as I see it offers you a concept at their disposal but gives you the space and decision how to make your post blends with the subject of your blog without sacrificing your blog's content and the idea they want you to portray.
Paid Posting offers opportunities to bloggers to earn on their post and makes blogger enhance their creativity on how to conceptualize their posting in relation to the subject of their blog.
As I see it sponsored posting can be use to blogger's advantage but when you select a sponsored posting and opportunity choose the ones that you can blend with the subject and topic of your blog don't rush to earn a lot and sacrificing the content of your blog and anyway blogs nowadays are geared towards revenue generation and bloggers are not to be blame regarding this ideas, since adsense launches the concept of clickable ads everything in the blogworld has changed and we only adapt to the trend and changes.

A few reason why I choose to start blogging.

Why do I blog? I blog for a hundred reasons and one of this is to share what I learn and what I can get in this new social media. I blog because I found it challenging as blogging ignites your mind to be creative and resourceful in all means and gives you an opportunity to earn something from it.
I have been searching all options on how to earn a few bucks from my blog up to now. I have tried all opportunities but so far I've only got a quarter of a bucks not even to buy me a cup of coffee. Just in the recent months while I am browsing and scouring the entire world wide web and the whole of blogosphere I've read some post about this newest online income opportunity that is gaining popularity to bloggers and enterprenuer alike it is called PayperPost. I think all of you is familiar with this new earning opportunity do you?
PayPerPost is about blogging and get paid to blog about everything you love. I go directly to this site and find out how this opportunity works and kinda like the way it makes business with bloggers and advertisers. I signed up immediately upon reading its TOS and it is a fare deal and a win-win situation for all. So far I am new to this but what I've learn is that it gives me opportunity to know the creative side of me. What makes PayPerPost beneficial in my point of view is that it challenges you to be creative in how to post an article while getting some extra bucks for you to spend for a cup of coffee and a sandwich and much more.

Blog Management 101: How to keep your blog up and running

We all know that blogging is not that easy when it comes to posting quality content for our readers that often we run out of ideas to post.
The best thing to do to maintain your blog up and running is to manage your blog just like it is your business or job which I think most blog today is directed towards this idea. How to manage your blog to keep it fresh and updated?

Plan. Planning is asking yourself, what particular topic will I be posting? and when am I going to post my article?
What particular topic will I be posting? This question will be your guide in selecting topics to blog about, but be sure that every topic you write is related to the subject of your blog.
When am I going to post my article? This means that you have to have a time frame for posting your ideas. Always have a scheduled time or date when to post and create a sense of anticipation for your readers to expect. Stick to your scheduled posting at all times.
Organize.Organize by keeping a to-do list of your posting schedule and cross off items when you are done with them and give yourself a reward when you finish an item.
Build. Add new ideas when you think of them and write them down by this way you can start building ideas out of your scribbled notes. When writing a post always draft them first before posting them to give you time to review and edit your articles as ideas sometimes pour in bit by bit as you go on.
Do some research about what you are going to post to make your post better and in good quality.

This may not be a complete guide but so far this is what I have been doing and it helps me a lot. Remember that managing your blog is essential to keep it up and running and blog management is a continuous process as your blog grow the demands of managing it grows too, but this are the basics in blog management.

Blogging Essentials: Three things that can gain traffic and readership

Blogging started as a random thoughts of a few internet users that considers it an online diaries. But not anymore today. Blogging becomes a phenomenon for the reason that it gives you a voice to be heard. You can post your thoughts on any topics and instantly you can get a worldwide audience. Blogging has gone beyond that of a simple journal into an interactive social media where audience can leave a comment whether they agree or disagree to your post. And search engines look at comments on your blog as a fresh content, thereby getting your blog indexed.
However to make your blog works three things you must keep in mind.
1. Make your readers your priority. You want lots of people to read your blog, then do post interesting content as much as possible that is related to your blog and what the readers wants to know about that may be of help to them. Do make your blog content reach a wider audience, meaning make your blog understandable even by people in the lowest level of education.
2.Choose a good design for your blog. There are lots of blog layouts in the net to choose from but do not overdo it. Content is King, but graphics and design is the Queen meaning that good quality content is your priority but your choice of design can complement your content and maximize its readability.
3. Post frequency. Post fresh content at least three times a week as a minimum. The point is to let not your blog be idle for a longer period of time, especially if you are a blogprenuer and monetizing your blog. With this frequency of posting your blog will be search engine friendly as there is always a flow of fresh content and search engines do love freshly updated blog. Added to that people want as much information as they can get so this minimum frequency of posting gives your audience a sense of anticipation for your next post.

In summary, the three essentials of blogging are prioritizing your readers while making your blog appealing with good design and frequently updated content in an easy to understand format.
This will make your blog on the go.
