Image via WikipediaJoining Social network sites has lot to offer us bloggers in getting much needed traffic and backlinks for our blog especially for those who are just starting to create a blog, thus makes your blog gain Page rank and even popularity. And more than that Social networking sites now is being tapped by advertisers to promote products and services that creates opportunity for bloggers to earn extra bucks aside from meeting new friends and acquaintances. This two features combined in a social network makes blogging a better tool to share ideas, views and product reviews plus additional bucks to utilize in paying for the maintenance of your paid hosting and domain. The trend now that Social media is taking is that of paid posting generated from advertisers who want to promote products and services through the use of blogging, which in my opinion is advantageous for bloggers in two ways. First, you can generate lots of traffic and backlinks to your blog and secondly, you have the opportunity to earn extra bucks. But always be cautious when doing paid posting: Never forget to post original content for your blog often as paid post could affect the quality of your blog because major search engines especially Daddy "G" is allergic to too much paid post scattered in your blog, but social sites that has this features states in their TOS that original post should follow every paid posting that you've taken. And they now have a "no-follow" tag in the links that they want you to insert in your post so that your PR would not suffer. SocialSpark, Smorty, and Bloggerwave are just some of the few social networking sites that has this features offered for bloggers and advertisers. What's your opinion about this new trend in blogging and social networking? Have your say here.
Recent trend today is geared towards saving energy for the sake of the environment and the pocket of every family. Dirt Devil saves 70% less energy. The new AccuCharge Stick Vac and Hand Vac uses 70% less energy are therefore can save you money and energy indeed while maintaining the cleanliness of your home. This new Accucharge technology is a high efficiency charging system that saves your time and money while doing your part to reduce energy consumption and help the environment. This new vacuum cleaner from Dirt Devil uses a cordless technology so it is hassle free and easy to use without the need of a messy cord that you have to pull along to reach other areas in your home that you want to clean. Image by BigBlue via FlickrThis is an answer to a query from one of the visitor of my blog. This may not the best way to gain traffic to your blog, but so far this what I've done. Even if you have a good quality post that is worth reading in your blog, but if you don't promote your blog perhaps one or two might be able to stumble on your post but that's it. So in order to attract readers and visitors to your blog you have to do at least one of the following scheme. 1. Do some blog hopping and try to leave a comment in the post that gets your interest and when you post try to make it relevant to the post you are commenting. 2. If you are too lazy to do some blog hopping which in my opinion you must never do if you are a blogger, try to submit you blog to blog directories and here some of my choices:Blogcatalog, Mybloglog, Blogflux, Bloggapedia There are other blog directories out there in the web but so far this is what I recommend. 3. You may join social networking sites as this sites offers you a lot of exposure to your blog by gaining friends in the virtual world of the web. Some of the best social networking sites are StumbleUpon, Techorati, and Digg. There are other good social network sites that you can choose just have the initiative to scour the web and you will get lots aside from this that I mention. 4. Try creating an account with a news reader like Netvibes or NewsGator as this will help in exposing your blog to subscribers of this readers. 5. Join Entrecard though you must have the drive to drop your card to other entrecard members as this will give your blog more exposure. 6. If you are good at writing articles try to compose one or two and submit it to Article submission sites like EzineAritlces and others, as this sites allows you to place a link to your blog and readers will find your blog through the article you have submitted. So far this is what I can share to you for now and maybe in the future I can give much more ideas and tips aside from what I have been doing now.
Image via WikipediaSubmitting articles to article submission sites is a useful tool for blogs to have the exposure it needs especially the newbies in blogging. By submitting articles to any submission sites it helps blogger not only the exposure their blog needed but it also helps in the development of a blogger's writing skills and creativity. Writing articles can be fun and challenging for us bloggers as it tickles our brain to be creative and become a prolific writer that perhaps it may propel us to fame and become an authority in the field of writing and composing great articles in the niche that we've chosen. When writing articles for submission do write those that you are well verse and knowledgeable of and always be original in your ideas and thoughts. Article submission sites offers blogger an opportunity to promote their blog by publishing the articles submitted with a link to your blog. But when you do submit your article don't forget to post articles, tips and ideas in your blog too. So why not try writing articles that you can submit to articles submission sites, there are lots of them in the web and get your blog exposed for traffic and readership.
Now the question is do you agree that by submitting an article to article submission site may help your blog get the exposure it needs? I would say it does help but as of now I am still in the stage of experimentation and so far it has some promising results.

Image by DennisSylvesterHurd via FlickrIn the past days I am busy doing some activity for my blog's traffic and promotion, lol. And here is the summary of it all. So far my plan has achieve something and here it is:
03 June: Started creating my own email newsletter powered by Zookoda. The result is not that promising, because as of this time still no one sign up for my mailing list, but still hoping someone might get interested to read my feeds in their mailboxes. 04-06 June: I've dropped more entrecards and the result is good and will continue during my free time. 06-07 June: Started commenting in other blogs that I visited and get some really good results my blogroll starts to be populated and will continue till I have enough friends list in my links. Also created my chatbox where users and visitors to my blog can interact and show their own blog for me to visit and comment.
So far my activity rewards me and I am happy to continue with this scheme. So if you are interested about my post here just leave a comment or just post a message in my chatbox and I would be glad to visit your blog and if I am interested your definitely be included in my blogroll though I need a reciprocal link love too.

Blogging is no longer confined to just a simple personal journal, rants and ravings of an individual. It has develop in time into an income generating tools for bloggers and an opportunity that is being tapped by advertisers. Almost everyone in the blogosphere is aiming in someway or another to earn through this form of social media as there are lots of programs and other media that opted to tapped the usability of blogging in promotion, business opportunity and driving sales to brands and products that is proliferating in the world wide web today. I in my case I would admit that I have shifted from just posting tips and ideas about blogging into money making opportunity. The shift for advertisers to tapped the potential of blogging in marketing their products has gain popularity recently. There are now lots of alternative for advertisers to promote their products online and one of that is a new brainchild from IZEA known as SocialSpark.com. SocialSpark.com is targeting advertisers to promote products on their system. The advantage of this idea is the interactive way of connecting bloggers and advertisers in one social media. It allows advertisers to create an opportunity, set their advertising price and find the best way to promote a product. If I would choose a product or brand to advertise at SocialSpark, it would be clothing from Jockey, Bennetton, Giordano and Next as these are my favorite apparels. Second I want see Coke, Hersheys, M&M and Cudbury listed in their system. and lastly I want HushPuppies, Reebok, Adidas, and Nike ads at SocialSpark these are my favorite shoes. And by the way even Microsoft, Yahoo or Google is wanted at SocialSpark :). Advertising in this new brainchild of IZEA offers a better alternative to Adsense and other PPC form of advertising as this is more targeted ads with added personal opinions, reviews and recommendations from bloggers, who are the consumers and it is just simply viral. So advertisers why not have a try at SocialSpark and drive more sales and promotion of your products. You are most welcome at SocialSpark.
Day 2: June 05, 2008 Day two of my blog promotion activity dropping my entrecard as many as I can. I've started dropping my entrecard and joined one scheme on power dropping my entrecard so that my blog could get more exposure and traffic. This activity will continue even if my action program ends since this tool is valuable enough to get my blog the exposure and traffic it needs. So far I've drop today at least 10 entrecard, before I am dropping 2 to 4 maximum now I am trying to increase my entrecard drops in the increments of 10 cards each day. On my next activity would be commenting on other blogs and forums as this is also valuable in interacting with my visitors and readers. I will be visiting other blogs that post their comments here and try to reciprocate the same on their blog. If you have any comments I would appreciate it and try to reciprocate that on your blog too.

I am an avid manga anime fan even at this age, perhaps because in my childhood years I wasn't able to have access to animes and cartoons then. One of the manga character I am watching on TV is Bleach. If I am to choose for my manga name it would be Kouhei Tadashi which means "one who is peaceful and righteous". The very name I choose would mean that if I am one of the character in Bleach I will be intervening in destroying the vengeful scheme of the Dark One's who plans to collide the world of the Living and Soul Society which if it happens will annihilate both worlds. By curving the plot of the Dark One's it will bring peace and righteousness to both worlds. Now one of the series has been made for the wide screen entitled Bleach the Movie: Memories of Nobody and will be having its US debut on selected theaters on June 11 and 12 at 7:30 PM. Advance purchase tickets are available now at NCM Fathom.
Synopsis of the Movie:
After unidentified beings known as “Blanks” start popping up, they are soon followed by a Soul Reaper named Senna who makes them disappear. Puzzled by these unknown beings and the even more mysterious girl, Ichigo and Rukia set out to learn more, but uncover an evil plot when a menacing clan tries to kidnap Senna. Banished from the Soul Society long ago, the clan’s leader is sending the World of the Living and the Soul Society on a collision course, and Senna seems to be the key to his diabolical plot for revenge.
I've come up with an activity plan for my blog to get more exposure and traffic after doing some critiquing it seems that I need to do some actions to keep my blog going. I have come up with some plans and to-do-list. I just want to post it here to inform my readers and visitors as this may also help you in getting more exposure to your own blog. Action that I have to take starts June 3 to 7 and I am posting it here as soon as I am done with it.
Day 1 Objective: Use the potential of email newsletter to gain readers and visitors to my blog Result: Objective done. Just yesterday I have made my very first email newsletter and if you are interested just enter your email add at the top of the sidebar. I use Zoodoka email newsletter tool. My next action plan: Use the Entrecard system of blog promotion often. This I seldom does. So maybe dropping more entrecard this days.
In my latest post I am quite aware of the mistakes committed by amateur bloggers like me, that in the self critiquing of my blog I found that I fall on the same mistake of being an insular blogger meaning I just post content in my blog and just sit there not aware of the potential of interacting with my readers to boost my blog exposure. So one of the action plan I am about to undertake today is utilizing the potential of email newsletter to promote and interact with my readers and visitors. While I am scouring other blogs to devour their content I often found in their side bars an email subscription. And for me I think email newsletter is one of the many ways to promote the content of my blog aside from the RSS feeds. In using this tool I can now start interacting with my readers by sending them newsletters of my recent post through their inbox. The question is what email newsletter provider would I use. I am thinking of using the service of feedburner, but I found this one that offers more than just sending my recent post via rss in my readers' inboxes. Zookoda is an email marketing application designed specifically for bloggers. It enables you to send a daily, weekly or monthly summary of your latest blog posts directly into your visitors inbox for FREE. We always love anything that is free right! So Zookoda has more to offer aside from just sending you recent blog post. This email marketing application tool enables bloggers to: 1.Manage email newsletter subscribers. 2.Enhance your blog with custom newsletter subscription forms. 3.Design eye-catching newletters to match your blog design. 4.Schedule recurring broadcasts for each day, week or month. 5.View real-time open, bounce, click and unsubscribe reports. 6.Access mobile users by emailing blog content in text format.
With all this features I've considered to use this email application tools to create my own newsletter as I am about to embark on my first action plan to create an interactive environment with my readers and visitors and I think making my own newsletter is a good start. Why not try to have your action plan too and using the potential of email newsletter subscription is one way to start and it is anyway offered for FREE! Yeah ..... here are some other features you may find of value: 1. All emails sent by Zookoda are spam compliant. 2. All subscriptions via your blog form are double opt-in to ensure user acceptance. 3. Our online editor allows for easy editing of your blog posts, as well as re-ordering your posts 4. Stop false subscriptions by adding wildcard addresses to your blacklist. 5. Customise your email with details captured through your blog form. 6. Advanced users can use the "Zootags" to develop cool email templates. 7. Zookoda supports multiple blog, mailing lists, emails and broadcasts... so fire away! 8. And they did mention that... Zookoda is FREE! (all functions!)
I found this quick tips about blogging too interesting to read and share here. Here is an excerpt that I want to quote from the post titled Don't be An Insular Blogger: "Insular blogging is when you sit and post content to your blog never linking to or talking about other bloggers, blogs or websites." I share this because in my analysis of my blog I fall to this kind of blogger. If you notice I don't have too much link love with other bloggers in the whole of the blogosphere. I don't blame myself regarding this mistake its just that I am too pessimistic about the linking idea because my blog doesn't have a PR, but anyway to correct this mistake I then invite anyone who read my blog to exchange links with me with or without PR. I also fall on the mistake of not participating or commenting on forums, well this can be justified due to my kind of job I often return home tired and exhausted but anyway I'll try to make a resolution to myself to make a to-do-list on what is best for my blog. So for the time being I will be starting to have an action plan on how to avoid being an insular blogger. How about you? Will you also make your own action plan to avoid this mistake?
Hi! I'm Heisan Salivio and this is a blog that I have created to share something that I learn about blogging since I started in 2005.I created this blog to earn extra money hopefully and at the same time share what I've learn from blogging since 2005. Welcome! Hope you'll enjoy and learn something from my post here. I'm a Catholic layman who once opted to become a priest but later choose to marry rather than be an impure one. A great admirer of St. Augustine and St. Paul and an avid Papist.I am blogging since 2005 and created at least three blogs. One is all about technology, second is about my faith and journey as a Catholic and third is about blogging reviews and monetizing a blog. I am a medical professional but have been hooked in the internet learning to make a web page using CSS and HTML which I am an amateur as of now and still continually learning.
